This redundant processor is part of the Modicon M580 range, an offer of Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC) and safety Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) with built-in Ethernet. This product offers a maximum of 31 remote rack configuration with up to 31744 discrete I/O channels and 7936 analog I/O channels. The Modicon M580 automation platform complies with "TC" treatment requirements (treatment for all climates) and can operate in temperatures ranging from 0°C to +60°C/32°F to 140°F. The new grey design is applied for this module with a weight of 0.849kg and its new dimensions 64x130x135mm. The CPU must be installed in the rack slots marked 00 and 01, with 2 screws on top of the CPU to maintain the module on the rack. This product can be used in combination with Modicon X80 (I/O, backplane, cable) and works with the EcoStruxure Control Expert programming software.
