The Circutor CVM-C11 (code M58541) is a panel-mounted power analyser designed for standard 96 x 96 mm cutouts, measuring electrical energy quality variables across four input channels. It analyses individual voltage and current harmonics up to the 31st order and communicates over RS-485 using Modbus RTU or BACnet. With four-quadrant measurement capability covering both consumption and generation, it suits low- and medium-voltage installations including those with photovoltaic or backup generation.

Features and benefits:

  • Four-quadrant measurement (Q1-Q4) handles both energy consumption and generation, making it compatible with grid-tied solar PV and backup generator setups.
  • Neutral current measurement enables detection of phase imbalance and overloads on the neutral conductor, supporting safer installation monitoring.
  • Three-tariff energy discrimination via two digital inputs allows consumption to be allocated by work shift or energy source - grid, generator, or photovoltaic generation.
  • Configurable alarm control with 2 relay outputs and 2 NPN transistor outputs can trigger on any instantaneous measured or calculated parameter, with adjustable hysteresis, NO/NC selection, connection and disconnection delays, and interlock settings.
  • On-screen CO2 emission and energy cost tracking per tariff, alongside graphical display of instantaneous active power and all four quadrants, with numerical cos/PF indication.

Applications:

  • Power quality monitoring in industrial switchboards, including THD measurement and harmonic analysis to the 31st for each phase of voltage and current.
  • Multi-source energy accounting in facilities combining mains supply with solar PV generation or diesel generators, using tariff discrimination to separate consumption by source.
  • Shift-based energy cost tracking in manufacturing environments, using three-tariff mode to allocate consumption across different production periods.
  • Alarm and protection schemes in low- and medium-voltage panels, using relay and transistor outputs to signal out-of-tolerance power quality conditions or energy thresholds.
