The Knipex 98 53 13 is a 190 mm stripping knife designed for removing the outer sheath of sector cables and similar multi-core cables. The sickle-shaped fixed hook blade made from oil-hardened special tool steel allows controlled cuts without damaging inner conductors. The insulating multi-component handle is VDE-tested to DIN EN 60900 for safe use on live electrical installations.
