This safety discrete input module is part of the Modicon X80 range, an offer of common input/output and communication modules, power supplies and racks for Modicon M340 and Modicon M580. This product is composed of 16 non-isolated input channels and it is supplied with 24V DC (positive). This safety product can be used in more severe environments, and operate in an extended temperature range, from -25°C to +60°C/-13°F to 140°F. Modicon X80 modules provide a single environment for the deployment of I/O modules in automation architectures by reducing spare parts inventory, maintenance and training costs. It features 16 Type 3 inputs, in two groups of 8 non-isolated inputs. This product is IP20 rated and offers 382097 hours of MTBF. This discrete module has a weight of 0.120kg and dimensions of 32x131x86mm. This module is compatible with Safety PLCs with a 20-way caged, screw clamp, or spring-type removable terminal block. The I/O module height is larger than the height of a rack (Ethernet or X-bus) and should be considered before installing the rack. The product must be installed on the rack and fixed with 2 screws.
